Nuclei/anti-nuclei production in p-p and Pb-Pb at LHC energies.

The analysis of nuclei/anti-nuclei ratios produced in ALICE is presented. As a first step we simulate deuteron production in p-p and Pb-Pb collisions at TeV energies to evaluate the geometrical detection efficiency, relative to protons and anti-protons, using TPC tracking for momentum reconstruction and TOF for timing. Then, a simple coalescence afterburner, based on p-n minimum phase-space correlations in the hadronization stage, is implemented to estimate the expected deuterium yields. Preliminary data analysis of p-p data is presented, and a possible relationship with big-bang nucleosynthesis is discussed.
